The first direct cargo flight operated by SF Express, as well as specially prepared for Xiaomi Technology, departed from Shenzhen, China to Chennai, India at 2:35 a.m. on August 5.

After 5-hour flying, the all-cargo aircraft, the first flight between Shenzhen and Chennai, arrived safely in Chennai, mostly carrying mobile phone parts for Xiao Mi Technology Limited Liability Company, one of the most popular Chinese technology manufacturers, famous for its high-quality mobile phones and other intelligent products.

SF express, famed cargo transport company in China, boasting its high efficiency and excellent service, has opened 12 international destinations for cargo transport, covering the Asia-Pacific Area. Now the company, starting with package transport, possesses 45 full-cargo freighters including Boeing 767,747, and 737 etc. There were over 30 tonnes cargoes in this flight; mostly were Xiaomi's mobile phones parts intended to be processed in factories in Chennai. After negotiated with the technology company at great length in terms of amount of good, time, service and aircraft, the express company decided to use B767 in consideration of the great amount of the cargoes.

Before the opening of this route, railways and cargo compartment of aircraft were used for freight transport between Shenzhen and Chennai, which can hardly meet the need of Xiaomi. Transport through aircraft belly hold costs 2 yuan per kilogram and that through full-cargo airplane approximately 7 to 8 yuan per kilogram. "We are capable of providing full-flow service for Xiaomi company, and make efforts to lower cost in a bit to reach balance between cost and productiveness, while improving quality of service", said Liu Lianghao, Chairman of SF Express.

Besides, customs of Shenzhen International Airport has improved work efficiency in three aspects, namely, technology, politics and inspection. Thus, it merely takes 8 hours for the cargo to be ready to depart since it arrived at the airport.
