Air Navigation is advancing and transforming rapidly on many fronts with continual updates to international standards and regulations. In the face of such a moving environment, IDS guarantee solutions for Air Navigation customers that fully comply with relevant standards and regulations set by the international industry bodies such as the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO), Eurocontrol, and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

The company also contributes to the evolution of international standards and criteria through participation in a number of regional and international regulation committees:

1. ICAO - the International Civil Aviation Organization: A specialized agency of the United Nations created to promote the safe and orderly development of international civil aviation throughout the world. ICAO sets standards and regulations necessary for aviation safety, security, efficiency and regularity, as well as for aviation environmental protection.  http://www.icao.int
2. Eurocontrol - the European Organisation for the Safety of Air Navigation: An intergovernmental organisation made up of 39 Member States and the European Community. EUROCONTROL is committed to building a Single European Sky that will deliver the ATM performance required for the 21st century and beyond.
3. CANSO - The Civil Aviation Navigation Services Organisation: the industry body representing the interests of Air Navigation Service Providers worldwide. Founded in 1996, and headquartered in The Netherlands, the body aims to provide a global platform for customer and stakeholder driven civil air navigation services providers.
4. IATA – Airport and Air Navigation Services: IATA is an international trade body, created over 60 years ago by a group of airlines. Today, IATA represents some 240 airlines comprising 84% of total air traffic. The organization also represents, leads and serves the airline industry in general.   
5. ATCA - the Air Traffic Control Association: ATCA is a non-profit, non-government, professional organization that provides a forum in which the providers of air traffic control, system architects, manufacturers, suppliers, system operators and users can address the myriad issues inherent to the development of viable air traffic control systems and aviation infrastructures, and the ever increasing demands on the global navigable airspace environment.
6. IFATCA - International Federation of Air Traffic Controllers' Associations: IFATCA is a Federation that unites the professional associations of air traffic controllers from around the world. In total, it represents over 130 of such organisations, with a combined membership of over 50,000 air traffic controllers. The goals of the Federation include promoting safety, efficiency, and regularity of international air navigation, aid in the development of air traffic control systems, procedures and facilities and promote knowledge and professional efficiency among air traffic controllers. They do this by closely cooperating with national and international aviation authorities, and as such are represented in a large number of bodies that are looking at the present and future developments in air traffic control. Their ultimate goal is a world-wide federation of Air Traffic Controllers’ Associations.
7. FAA - The Federal Aviation Administration: FAA is the national aviation authority of the United States. An agency of the United States Department of Transportation, it has authority to regulate and oversee all aspects of civil aviation in the U.S. The FAA's major roles include: Regulating U.S. commercial space transportation; Regulating air navigation facilities' geometry and flight inspection standards; Encouraging and developing civil aeronautics, including new aviation technology; Issuing, suspending, or revoking pilot certificates; Regulating civil aviation to promote safety, especially through local offices called Flight Standards District Offices; Developing and operating a system of air traffic control and navigation for both civil and military aircraft; Researching and developing the National Airspace System and civil aeronautics; Developing and carrying out programs to control aircraft noise and other environmental effects of civil aviation.
8. IFATSEA - International Federation of Air Traffic Safety Electronics Associations: A non-political Federation of Air Traffic Safety Electronics Associations that promotes safety, efficiency and regularity in International Air Navigation; assists and advises in the development of electronics systems in order to maintain the safe, orderly and expeditious flow of air traffic; upholds a high standard of knowledge and professional efficiency among Air Traffic Safety Electronics personnel; protects and safeguards the collective professional interests of Air Traffic Safety Electronics personnel; makes mutual benefit affiliations with other professional organisations and strives for a worldwide Federation of Air Traffic Safety Electronics Associations by closely co-operating with national and international Aviation Authorities and other Institutions or persons concerned with Air Navigation.
